Gus's Student Visionaries of the Year Fundraiser
I am honored to be chosen as the candidate for Team Chaminade. The focus of our fundraising is the Research Pillar. LLS is working to advance cures and improve treatments for patients.
This mission is especially important to me personally because even though it was not blood cancer, both of my grandmothers had a type of cancer. In 2007, my grandma (my mom’s mother) died of thyroid cancer at age 76. I was born the following year. I often think about how different as a person I would be and all the memories we would have made if she had been around. My Dad’s mom had breast cancer two different times. After learning about the opportunity to support cancer research and treatment through the LLS Club at Chaminade, I was eager to join and help save the lives of others in similar struggles. I now have the chance to help others in their fight against cancer, something that I was not able to do for my grandmas. I know that with your help, we can reach my personal and team fundraising goals and make a direct impact in the lives of blood cancer patients.
I hope to raise as much awareness as possible for LLS and its mission. For the 2025 campaign, Team Chaminade total fundraising goal will be $50,000.
Please consider joining this fight by making a donation. All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. Please visit my website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!
Thanks to your support, my efforts will help ensure this generation is the last to see cancer.
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you!

My wife has benefited from the immunotherapies that came from cancer research and we are very grateful for that. Gus's efforts will help others down the line. He deserves this recognition for his generous and important work.
